Using a Cisco VPN on Ubuntu Edit

  • Install either the regular Cisco VPN client
sudo apt-get install network-manager-vpnc
  • Or the Cisco AnyConnect client
sudo apt-get install network-manager-openconnect
  • Restart the network-manager, in order to update the system tray icon
sudo service network-manager restart
  • Then you can use the regular network manager in the system tray to set up your VPN
